World Cigars comprise those cigars made outside Cuba.
Brought on by the Cuban revolution in 1953, cigar makers fled the country and settled with cigar factories around places like Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Honduras, Brazil, Mexico, Jamaica, Connecticut, Ecuador, Java and Sumatra. By growing and cultivating their own tobacco leaves for locally made cigars, it offers a new range of alternatives to the classic Cuban.
